 Welcome to website for San Diego Law Offices of Attorney Janice M. Crowell and Associates. Janis began her career in the area of governmental health care coverage. While working with individuals who were applying for benefits, she became an expert in the laws governing various medical programs. She necessarily spent a great deal of time investigating the financial backgrounds of individuals, which led to Janice becoming a licensed private investigator (California PI license no. PI-10803). From there, she ventured into many areas of the legal field. This background in law and advocacy led Janice to her ultimate career as an attorney at law. (California State Bar No. 209659).
She has developed a highly qualified team of specialists to make the office unique, covering opposite ends of the spectrum in financial matters for clients.
Her passion… Janice’s many years of experience in investigation of financial backgrounds has made her a natural for assisting judgment creditors who have won their cases in court but cannot now collect from the debtors. Janice and her staff are dedicated to assisting the judgment creditor by aggressively searching out those debtors and their assets, and then getting the funds into the hands of the creditors. Janice lectures on judgment enforcement, is a contributing author to a legal treatise on judgment enforcement by Lois Law, and is the Chair of Education for the California Association of Judgment Professionals.
A natural offshoot… Her background has put her in good stead to assist individuals in estate planning – planning for protection of assets in an individual’s later years. One of her legal specialties now lies in the area of wills and trusts.
